Withering Realms Tools Hub
Specs, menus, and the reporter that actually attaches a save.
This hub is the practical half of the wiki: can your PC run the doll, which graphics preset to pick, how to turn on the Perf HUD, and how to file a bug that Moonless Formless can reproduce. It is not a combat guide. For story and systems start in Guides. For the size of the first Steam package start in Early Access scope. For the 2027 wrapping start on the roadmap.
Two pages sit under this hub on purpose. System requirements is the spec sheet: Windows 10, the minimum and recommended CPU/GPU pairs, 14 GB of disk, DirectX 11 versus 12, and what the developer has said about Steam Deck. Settings and bug reports is the in-game side: quality presets, volumetrics, the slash key, copying a Realm, controller notes, and the English-only interface until 1.0.
Withering Realms is a single-player horror action RPG. Steam lists achievements, Steam Cloud, full controller support, DualShock, DualSense, and Family Sharing. There is no multiplayer mode. Early Access on 2 September 2026 is a Windows PC build. Mac and Linux are not on the store requirements table. Treat those absences as absences, not as hidden ports.
When to open this hub
Open system requirements before you argue with a night-time stutter. The minimum GPU is a GTX 970 or RX 570 class card with DirectX 11. The recommended path is a GTX 1070 or Vega 56 class card with DirectX 12 and 12 GB of RAM. Both columns ask for 14 GB of free storage. If you are under those lines, drop to High or Medium and turn on upscaling before you assume the dungeon is broken.
Open settings and bug reports when you need the slash key, the Perf HUD, or a copy of a save. The reporter is the difference between “it crashed” and a ticket that includes a screenshot plus the Realm file. The support site also documents a Realms menu on the title screen for copying a candle, and a disk path under AppData\LocalLow\Moonless Formless\Withering Realms.
If the game feels unfair rather than unstable, change the doll before you change the .ini. Overpowered and broken crafts are expected during Early Access. Narrative difficulty in Gameplay Options is the official escape hatch when a new loadout still cannot stand up. Balance notes belong in a report, not in a graphics thread.
What this hub will not become
This is not a trainer list, not a save editor, and not a place to host third-party injectors. The only “tools” here are the ones shipped with the game or documented by Moonless Formless: graphics options, Perf HUD, the slash-key reporter, Steam Cloud, and the copy-Realm flow. If a later patch adds a photo mode or a built-in benchmark, it can live here. Until then, do not paste console commands that the studio never published.
It is also not a price calculator. Withering Realms is a paid Steam title; check the store page for the current figure. App ID 3441990 is the product to follow for Cloud, refunds, and news.
Hardware, Deck, and controllers
The developer said the demo ran well start to finish on Steam Deck. That is a demo note, not a Verified badge for the full Early Access installer. Use the Perf HUD on handheld if you try it, keep an eye on frame time in Penwyll at night, and read the spec page before you buy a dock setup you cannot return. The listed platform for Early Access remains Windows 10.
Full controller support includes DualShock and DualSense. Keyboard still matters because the slash reporter is a key. If you play from a couch, learn where / sits on your layout or use the pause-menu reporter instead of skipping reports.
Steam Cloud is listed. Copying a Realm locally is still worth doing before you spend a night testing a cursed talisman stack. Cloud does not replace a candle you overwrote on purpose.
Feedback loop
Moonless Formless asked for three kinds of player help during Early Access: anonymous gameplay data (opt-in at launch or a toggle in options), in-game reports with screenshot and save, and conversation on Discord or Steam Community. Email support@moonlessformless.com for serious problems. The public Discord is still the Withering Rooms server. Official URLs are collected on the links hub.
A useful hardware report names GPU, preset, resolution, upscaling, and whether SSGI / Ultra volumetrics were on. A useful balance report names weapons, talismans, dungeon, and day or night. Keep the build ranking nearby so the loadout language matches the rest of the wiki. Keep Guides nearby so you are not reporting a tutorial miss as a bug.
Use this hub when the doll is the least interesting part of the problem. Specs, presets, and reports are how a full campaign survives Early Access without turning every night route into a guessing game. Once the frame time is honest and the save is attached, go back to Penwyll and let Clover be the strange part again.
Frequently Asked Questions
Quick answers for Penwyll, the doll, and Early Access.

System requirements covers the Steam spec table, disk size, DirectX, and Deck notes. Settings and bug reports covers Perf HUD, graphics presets, the slash-key reporter, controllers, and language.
What are the minimum specs?
Windows 10 64-bit, Core i5-2500K or Ryzen 5 1400, 8 GB RAM, GTX 970 or RX 570, DirectX 11, and 14 GB of storage. The full table is on system requirements.
Does Early Access run on Mac, Linux, or consoles?
Steam lists Windows only. Consoles are planned after Early Access for the 2027 full release. See the roadmap.
